Harry Wilson returns with his advice for all eight races live on ITV from Newbury, Market Rasen and the Curragh on Saturday
1.50 Newbury
BetVictor Steventon Stakes (Listed), 1m2f
Harry’s tip: Okeechobee
Okeechobee has been lightly raced since his debut in April 2022, but he showed he was high class when winning the Gordon Richards Stakes last year, taking his record on turf to 2-2. He is expected to take a big step forward from his all-weather reappearance in April and looks a cut above this level.
Jky: James Doyle Tnr: Harry Charlton
2.05 Market Rasen
Unibet Moneyback As Cash Races Handicap Hurdle, 2m4½f
Harry’s tip: Maghlaak
Maghlaak has achieved all three of his Flat wins on right-handed tracks but has run just once in the same direction over jumps, with that sole effort seeing him finish a close fourth in the Scottish County Handicap Hurdle off 3lb higher. He posted a career-best Racing Post Rating on the Flat last time and shapes like this longer trip will suit.
Jky: Danny McMenamin Tnr: Adrian Paul Keatley

2.25 Newbury
Back The Super Boost At BetVictor Handicap, 2m½f
Harry’s tip: Artistic Star
Artistic Star did not look to quite get home in the 2m4f Ascot Stakes last time, but he had shown promise as a stayer when beaten just two lengths in a 1m6f handicap at Newmarket in May. He looks well treated on that form off a 2lb lower mark, especially with Rossa Ryan back in the saddle.
Jky: Rossa Ryan Tnr: Ralph Beckett
2.40 Market Rasen
Unibet Same Race Multi Summer Handicap Hurdle, 2m½f
Harry’s tip: Moon Chime
Moon Chime has improved since wind surgery, winning two of his last three starts over hurdles (was brought down on the other occasion). His Flat debut last time can be ignored on account of very quick ground and he can continue his progress back over jumps, with the forecast rain in his favour.
Jky: Kielan Woods Tnr: David Killahena & Graeme McPherson
2.57 Newbury
Hallgarten And Novum Wines Hackwood Stakes (Group 3), 6f
Harry’s tip: Elite Status
Elite Status has not shown his best in two starts this season, but his two visits to Newbury have seen him run out an impressive winner of the Carnarvon Stakes and land last year’s Hackwood, recording an RPR at least 12lb higher than he has anywhere else both times. The return here could see a resurgence.

3.12 Market Rasen
Unibet Summer Plate Handicap Chase, 2m5½f
Harry’s tip: Courtland
Courtland returned from a mammoth layoff with a good third at Cartmel last time, shaping as if he retained a good chunk of ability. He was runner-up in this in 2023 off what is effectively the same mark when Shane Fenelon’s 5lb claim is taken into account and should go well at a course where he has achieved two of his top three RPRs.
Jky: Shane Fenelon (5lb)Tnr: Mickey Bowen
3.30 Newbury
Weatherbys Super Sprint Stakes, 5f
Harry’s tip: Kamakameleon
Havana Hurricane will be tough to beat if running to the same level as his Windsor Castle win, but Kamakameleon was not far behind him that day and appeals at a bigger price. He showed good speed before looking to find that stiff track a bit taxing and should be better suited to this course.
Jky: Callum Rodriguez Tnr: Dylan Cunha
3.40 Curragh
Juddmonte Irish Oaks (Group 1), 1m4f
Harry’s tip: Minnie Hauk
Minnie Hauk displayed a fine attitude to win the Epsom equivalent despite not looking completely at ease at the track, leaving the impression she still has more to offer, and the runner-up Whirl has since franked the form by winning the Pretty Polly. She is hard to oppose.
Jky: Ryan Moore Tnr: A P O’Brien
