Northern Pride 2025 will take over Newcastle city centre this weekend with the main stage located in Times Square
There are now just a few days to go until Northern Pride in Newcastle, with the huge celebration once again taking over Newcastle city centre. And the stage times for the Pride Arena, which will host stars like Pixie Lott, Michael Marouli and Gok Wan, have now been confirmed.
Always an event that Newcastle and the whole of the North East should be proud of, Pride is back for 2025 on Saturday, July 19 and Sunday, July 20 and, having made the switch from it6s usual home of the Town Moor 12 months ago, it will once again take up residence at various locations throughout Newcastle city centre, with the aim of being ‘unapologetically visible.’ The Pride locations for this year have been revealed and, as well as a plethora of live entertainment happening in the heart of town at Times Square, there will also be at events at some famous locations like Grey’s Monument and the Theatre Royal.
Last year, revellers were treated to star turns from the likes of the North East’s own Ginger Johnson, the winner of Drag Race UK 2023 and 90s pop icon Whigfield, who had everyone doing the moves to her 1994 number 1 Saturday night. and, a diverse mix of talent has been lined up to follow in their footsteps this year.
As announced by ChronicleLive earlier this year, the Newcastle Pride 2025 line-up features Mama Do, Boys & Girls and All About Tonight chart-topper Pixie Lott, who will be there, along with TV star and in demand DJ Gok Wan and Michael Marouli, who finished second to Ginger on Drag Race and has since performed to sold out performances across the world.
If you’re planning on going to Pride this year, some general release tickets are still on sale from the Northern Pride website for £30 for Saturday, £12.50 for Sunday and £40 for a weekend pass. Here is a run down of the stage times for the main stage, hosted by Miss Rory, Plastiq and Paris Munro, dance and cabaret stage and other zones across the city.

*Away from the main Pride arena, Curious Arts will be hosting NE Ladz at Northern Stage from 2-4pm on Saturday, the Lumo Stage on Grainger Street will have acts such as Sam Lavery and Sophie Gordon on from 12-5pm on Saturday and the Alphabetti Theatre, home to the Tranz+ Zone will have daytime events on from 1-5pm on Saturday, before hosting The Pedro Pascal says Trans Rights Cabaret! from 7.30pm-late.
