Chelsea will face either Real Madrid or Paris Saint-Germain in the FIFA Club World Cup final on Sunday after beating Fluminense 2-0.
Joao Pedro – making his first start since joining the Blues from Brighton and Hove Albion earlier this month – netted either side of half-time to earn Enzo Maresca’s side an important win and book their place in Sunday’s final.
Fluminense were the third Brazilian side that Chelsea have faced at the tournament, after a group stage defeat against Flamengo and a victory over Palmeiras in the quarters.
Off the pitch the West London club continue to be busy in the transfer market, with plenty of incomings and outgoings expected in the coming weeks.
With that in mind, it has emerged that a Premier League rival are trying to sign one of the Blues’ goalkeepers.
As reported by journalist Fabrizio Romano, Bournemouth are in talks to sign Chelsea ‘keeper Djordje Petrovic.

The Serbian had previously been linked with a move to newly-promoted Sunderland, but Romano claims that a deal was never close to being agreed with the Black Cats.
Instead, the 25-year-old is said to be keen on the idea of a move to the south coast, where ex-Chelsea teammate Kepa Arrizabalaga spent last season.
Petrovic joined Chelsea from MLS side New England Revolution in 2023 and has since played 31 times for the club.
He spent last season on loan at French side Strasbourg, keeping ten clean sheets in 31 gamester the club.
Romano claims that the Cherries have submitted their official opening bid for the goalkeeper, who is under contract at Stamford Bridge until the end of the 2029/30 campaign after signing a long-term contract when he joined the Blues two years ago.
