Leeds United are reportedly keen on signing AFC Bournemouth defender Max Aarons this summer.
Dr Rajpal Brar, an injury expert, has assessed his fitness record and has explained the ramifications of signing him.
Aarons has previously worked with Daniel Farke at Norwich City, which is why the German is keen on a reunion.
Aarons to clear transfer medical despite hamstring injury issues
While the 25-year-old’s game time last season was not ideal, he is not expected to have any issues clearing his medical, according to Dr Brar.
Leeds are keen on signing Aarons and he’s expected to cost a little over £12million this summer. (Football Espana, 7 May).

Speaking exclusively to MOT Leeds News, Dr Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and a Sports Scientist, said about Aarons: “Leeds may take a closer look at his hamstring injuries, but was able to get through the most last season without recurrence, so wouldn’t expect issues on the medical.
“His game time was not ideal last season, but he could be up to speed with a good pre-season.
“Prior Premier League experience certainly will help him adapt better.“
Leeds United must sign Aarons with Farke valuing him at £100m+ in 2020
Farke is a huge fan of the English full-back and valued him at north of £100million back in 2020.
“I wouldn’t sell Max Aarons, not for £100million, because he’s too important for us, but that’s quite normal,” Farke told BBC Radio Norfolk.
Farke’s prior success with Aarons at Norwich City makes a reunion at Leeds United highly sensible.
The German’s high-pressing, attacking system perfectly suits the Englishman’s dynamic skill set as an offensive-minded right-back.
Under Farke, Aarons thrived, making 213 appearances, scoring six goals and providing 14 assists, showcasing his ability to contribute in both defence and attack.
The Leeds boss’ familiarity with Aarons’ work rate and tactical discipline ensures seamless integration into Leeds’ squad.
