On Monday’s instalment of This Morning, ITV viewers saw JoJo Siwa make an unexpected appearance.
This Morning viewers were less than impressed with Alison Hammond after her comment to JoJo Siwa on Monday’s show.
During the episode, ITV viewers saw Alison present the programme alongside Paddy McGuiness. The duo cut to Chris Hughes, who was live from Bexhill, speaking to 90-year-old Barby Keel, who runs an animal sanctuary.
However, the conversation soon turned to his Celebrity Big Brother JoJo Siwa, as she had been on Lorraine’s ITV show just before This Morning.
Alison said: “Listen, Chris, before you go, we’ve got someone who wanted to say a quick hello to you! Have a look at this.” JoJo then appeared on screen as she said: “Hey Christopher!”

Chris said: “That’s my Jo, I know that voice, that’s a voice that gives you energy in the morning, I tell ya, that’s just what I needed today.”
As the pair chatted, Chris helped Barby muck out and revealed that JoJo was going to be visiting the Cotswolds with him next week to see his family.
Although Paddy was quick to pick up on a remark Chris had made, he commented: “Can I just ask, how do you know JoJo gives you energy in the Morning? What’s going on here? Hello! Hashtag awkward.”
Alison burst out laughing at Paddy’s blunt question to Chris before their attention turned to JoJo. Alison said: “Honestly, I’m so invested in you and Chris.
“I don’t care what anyone says, I want to know. I’m so invested! I love this little relationship; it’s beautiful, but just for the record, what is your relationship status with Chris right now?”
JoJo replied: “Erm, I will say he is up there as one of my favourite people in the enitre world-” Alison added: “With benefits.”
Alison’s blunt remark didn’t go unnoticed by viewers as many were unimpressed with her bluntness. One person begged: “Please stop this JoJo & Chris segment on #ThisMorning.”
Another wrote: “I love a laugh n all that, but that was a crass comment by Alison re JoJo and Chris’ relationship.” Someone else said: “Leave Jojo alone. Alison that was uncalled for.”
One This Morning viewer commented: “I find this whole thing with JoJo and Chris nauseating. @ITV and @thismorning just need to drop it. It’s not cute it’s embarrassing. #thismorning.”
While another said: “Messy and awkward start #ThisMorning.”
JoJo didn’t address Alison’s comment, and she continued to praise Chris, admitting he made her happier than she’d ever been.
