The Moneysaving Expert has issued urgent advice on how to bag super cheap easyJet flights this week
Money Saving Expert Martin Lewis has posted an Instagram video detailing how people can potentially bag an absolute bargain on easyJet flights.
Alongside the message “Urgent: Super-cheap EasyJet Summer 2026 flights” the finance guru spelled out exactly when and how holidaymakers can pick up potentially “dirt cheap” EasyJet flights this week.
The Money Saving Expert said the advice is for picking up bargains with the budget airliner for flights for summer 2026. He posted the video as a ‘heads up’ as it’s all happening this week on Tuesday, July 22.
Martin said unlike some other years, they know July 22, 2025 will be the date for that easyJet releases its quarterly flight launches for summer 2026.
The finance expert goes on to explain how easyJet adopts a dynamic pricing structure for its flights.
“That means that the price of your flight depends on the demand at the time, and often if you manage to book the flight the moment it’s launched, then there isn’t any demand and the price is rock bottom,” said Martin.

These flights in question are specifically for next summer between June 15, 2026, and September 13, 2026.
The quarterly flight launch won’t tell us how many seats are available but Martin says last year at the same time it was 10 million UK flights.
Martin continued: “As for when it’s going to launch, I don’t know. I can tell you from the past sometimes we’ve seen it at 5 or 6am, sometimes we’ve seen it at 8am, sometimes we’ve seen different flights to different places coming at different times during the morning.”
Adding: “You’re going to hate me for this, but if you really want to bag the super cheap flights, you probably want to be up at about 5.30 in the morning and refreshing to see if they’re available, as long as we don’t crash its website when we do that.”
How cheap can the flight be?
Martin’s answer is “really cheap”, adding: “Possibly the cheapest you’ll ever get the flights, but this is not guaranteed. It does not always work. It is a case of trial and error.”
In the Instagram post, Martin then goes on to read out a number of success stories of people who have bagged themselves a bargain using the same method during previous years.
One flight to Lanzarote in 2023 was nabbed at £200 cheaper at 6am than it was less than two hours later.
Martin gave one final piece of advice, saying: “So what I suggest you do before they start this, is you go and look at the prices other airlines are selling flights for next summer at, at the moment.
“So you’ve got a benchmark of what is a reasonable price and what isn’t a reasonable price. And then you get up next Tuesday if you’re looking for this, and you cross your fingers.”
Martin included a helpful comment under his own video which read: ‘”For full info search ‘MSE Easyjet Summer 2026′”.
