Love Island first look sees secret kiss, fiery feud and new romance as voting opens

There’s plenty of fallout from Movie Night

Two Love Island contestants are plotting a sneaky get together on the terrace, away from prying eyes of their peers, as voting finally opens up.

In what promises to be a riveting episode airing on Sunday (July 13), sparks may fly anew for one couple. The show is also set to feature intense disputes and the potential blossoming of a fresh romance.

The latest episode kicks off with the aftermath of Movie Night, leaving the Islanders in shock after some eye-opening scenes on the big screen, reports OK!

Helena pulls Harry aside for a frank discussion about his behaviour, exasperatedly saying: “I’m getting fed up with this ‘I only do it to Helena because she lets me get away with it’… you’re making me look stupid again! Literally every person that comes into the Villa says ‘you let Harry walk all over you.'”.

Elsewhere, by the Firepit, Meg expresses her disillusionment to Dejon: “You’re playing a game D, and I’m not playing it with you.”

Their conversation ends abruptly when Dejon declares: “I’m done with this conversation,” and walks away. The atmosphere heats up further between Meg and Andrada. Meg confronts Andrada after learning she had shushed the girls to eavesdrop on her chat with Dejon, saying: “Andrada don’t be in here saying shush to hear my conversation with D.”

Andrada retorts: “Pipe down, who do you think you’re shouting at? … What’s wrong with you?” To which Meg sharply responds: “What’s right with you?”.

A potential new romance is brewing on the show as Conor and Shakira find themselves at the Firepit discussing possibilities they haven’t explored before. Conor opens up to Shakira, saying: “There’s definitely other girls here that I’d still like to get to know… Why haven’t I tried it with you?”.

Shakira, taken aback, responds: “You are my friend, if we ended and you’d be on bad terms with me, I’d never want that…” Conor suggests: “Maybe something worth thinking about… It makes sense.”

Shakira admits her surprise at the suggestion: “This is such a spanner in the works right now… it’s a spanner I didn’t think you’d have the balls to do.”

As the evening unfolds, two Islanders decide to take a chance on a clandestine meeting on the Terrace, away from the others. In a hushed tone, one Islander invites the other while ascending the stairs: “After you get a drink, do you want to meet me? Terrace?”.

The group outside is none the wiser as the pair discreetly slip away one by one. Once secluded on the Terrace and crouching to remain hidden, the instigator of the secret meet-up instructs: “We have to sit on the floor,” offering their hand.

“Otherwise they’re going to see… I don’t want them to see.”

Hidden from view, the atmosphere heats up between the two Islanders as they exchange flirtatious glances.

One daringly asks the other: “Would it be bad if I kissed you right now?” To which the other teasingly responds: “You have no problem being bad,”.

Early snippets released by ITV and circulated on Love Island’s official social media channels hint that the Islanders at the centre of the latest drama might be Harrison and Toni. The duo were an item prior to their decision to recouple after the events of Casa Amor.

Since their reunion in the main villa, Harrison has been noticeably flirtatious. Meanwhile, Toni has found it challenging to manage her feelings, now that she is coupled up with Cach.

This all unfolds as the voting lines are set to open once again, allowing viewers to weigh in on the action. The Love Island team prompted fans to prepare for the upcoming vote by sharing: “The vote is SO back. Download the Love Island app now and get ready to vote for Most Compatible Couple at the end of tonight’s show.”

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
