Karoline Leavitt embraced her inner “Barbie” with her latest outfit as she spoke to reporters.

The youngest-ever White House press secretary spoke to reporters at the White House on Monday, June 23, 2025, in Washington D.C. She briefly spoke about the U.S. attack on Iran and the diplomatic aftermath. Karoline wore a pink tweed dress that included three buttons on the side and bright pink heels, embracing her inner Barbie. She kept her hair down with a middle part.

Mattel began using pink in packaging, booklets, and logos in the mid-60s. The shade “Barbie Pink” (Pantone 219c) has even been trademarked by the global toy and family entertainment company.

As Leavitt was walking to the microphones to speak to reporters, she was shouted at with questions about the U.S. attack on Iran.

She was asked, “When the president is floating the idea of regime change, how does he believe that should be accomplished through the Iranians, the Israelis, or the Americans?”

Leavitt answered, “The presidents posture and our military posture has not changed. The president was just simply raising a question that I think many people around the world are asking. If the Iranian regime refuses to give up their nuclear program or engage in talks. We just took out their nuclear program on Saturday night, as you all know, but if they refuse to engage in diplomacy moving forward, why shouldn’t the Iranian people ruse up against this brutal terrorist regime?

She continued, “That’s a question the president raised last night. As far as our military posture, it hasn’t changed.”

Three targets were hit by the US forces on Saturday, June 21, in an attack the president hailed as “successful.” The United States launched major airstrikes on three Iranian nuclear facilities, with the president also claiming the sites were “obliterated” and warned of more attacks unless Iran seeks peace.

The strikes, part of “Operation Midnight Hammer,” involved more than 125 aircraft and dozens of precision-guided weapons targeting Fordo, Natanz, and Isfahan.

Pentagon officials said damage to the sites were severe but stopped short of confirming a complete shutdown of Iran’s nuclear capabilities.

Addressing the nation alongside vice president JD Vance, secretary of state Marco Rubio, and defense secretary Pete Hesgeth, Trump remarked: “Our objective was the destruction of Iran’s nuclear enrichment capacity and a stop to the nuclear threat. Tonight, I can report to the world that the strikes were a spectacular military success.”
