Developer Shift Up has detailed update version 1.011 for the PlayStation 5 version of its action game Stellar Blade, coinciding with the game’s launch on PC today.
This update, as noted below, introduces a new boss outfit, cosmetics, photo mode enhancements, background music, and more.
- Boss Challenge: Mann has been added
- Available after the first playthrough. Defeat Mann to acquire one new outfit for EVE.
- New cosmetics can be acquired during gameplay:
- 5 new outfits for EVE
- 9 new accessories for EVE
- The Digital Artbook is available after completing the first playthrough
- Photo Mode improvements and new features have been added
- 3 new facial expressions for EVE
- 4 new poses for EVE and Lily
- Preset saving function added
- Up to 6 lights can now be used
- Three new BGM tracks, “Lullaby of Secret”, “Just Fine”, and “Blur”, have been added to the turntable and are available for listening at the camp
- Lip-sync for Chinese voiceover is now supported.
- Japanese voiceover can now be selected in all regions.
- Key mapping functionality has been added for the DualSense controller.
- A fall prevention feature has been added (can be toggled On/Off via options) to enhance the platforming experience.
- Various other bug fixes.
About Stellar Blade
Set in a world where humanity has fled to an off-world colony, Stellar Blade follows Eve, a member of the seventh airborne squad, as she battles the alien threat known as Naytiba to save Earth. Alongside her companions, Adam and Lily, Eve must confront the elder Naytiba and uncover the secrets of their invasion.
This title’s combat is highly methodical, requiring players to understand the swaying movements of each sword strike and technique. Additionally, platforming and exploration play equally vital roles in the gameplay loop, with rewards abound.
