Spanish outlet Marca have reported that Martin Zubimendi’s move to Arsenal has stalled amid interest from Real Madrid.

The Spaniard has been linked with a move to the Premier League for a while now, but the article suggests that The Gunners are becoming increasingly concerned.

Zubimendi made 36 league appearances for Real Sociedad last season, scoring two goals and registering two assists.

“A definitive yes has yet to come, and concerns are starting to appear at The Emirates.

The fresh deal will see him remain at the Santiago Bernabeu until 2030. The Brazilian forward joined Los Blancos in July 2018.

He scored 11 goals and registered 10 assists as the Spanish giants settled for second place in La Liga last term.
