Hopes were soaring tonight as the EuroMillions jackpot reached an estimated £208million, with the UK’s largest-ever lottery prize still up for grabs. The staggering sum could have seen one lucky ticket-holder become the biggest lottery winner in UK history after no one claimed the jackpot in last Friday’s draw. National Lottery operator Allwyn confirmed that if the jackpot had been won tonight by a single UK ticket-holder, it would have surpassed all previous records making the lucky winner ‘instantly richer than the likes of Dua Lipa and Harry Kane’.
The Thunderball draw, with a top prize of £500,000, took place at 8.00pm and the winning numbers were 7, 15, 24, 25, 32, and the Thunderball was 4. The EuroMillions winning numbers were 19, 36, 39, 40, 45 and the Lucky Stars were 5 and 6.
Although no one scooped the EuroMillions jackpot, four ticket holders, including one from the UK each won over £4.5 million, and three UK ticket holders also won over £20.6K each. Meanwhile, one lucky player claimed the £500,000 top prize in the Thunderball draw.
