The HOLLYWOODBETS COSAFA Cup 2025 will be staged in Mangaung | Bloemfontein from June 4-15 and with battle lines drawn between the sides, it is bound to be another thrilling instalment in the rich history of this regional competition.

Hosts South Africa open their campaign against Mozambique for the second year in a row after the teams played to a 1-1 draw in Gqeberha in 2024. The teams have clashed six times before in the competition, with Bafana Bafana leading the head-to-head 3-1 and two draws.
South Africa will be seeking a first ever win over Zimbabwe in the HOLLYWOODBETS COSAFA Cup though with two defeats and a draw in just three previous meetings. They lead the head-to-head against Mauritius 3-1.
Zimbabwe have never lost to any of their pool opponents in the competition – Mozambique (W3 D2) and Mauritius (W2) to go with their unbeaten record against South Africa.
Mozambique and Mauritius have clashed on two occasions, with The Mambas recording a single win and a draw.

Defending champions Angola open their campaign against Namibia in a repeat of last year’s final that was won 5-0 by Palancas Negras. The teams also played to. 0-0 draw in the group stages in Gqeberha.
Angola have an unbeaten record against the Brave Warriors from six previous encounters (W3 D3), but it is more even against Malawi, with two wins each to go with three draws.
They have met Lesotho more than any other team in the competition, with this year being their ninth clash. Angola lead the head-to-head 5-2 with one draw from the previous eight games.
Namibia and Malawi have clashed in six previous occasions with the Namibians 3-1 ahead and a draw, while they also lead 2-1 with two draws.
Malawi have been involved in five matches with Lesotho in the past with a 2-2 record head-to-head.

Tanzania are back in the HOLLYWOODBETS COSAFA Cup for the first time since 2017 and will be making a fourth appearance overall.
They have met both group opponents before, losing 2-0 to Madagascar in 2015 and 1-0 to Eswatini in the same edition.
Madagascar and Eswatini have met five times before and the island nation are still seeking their first win. Eswatini have claimed three victories to go with two draws.

11/06, 15h00: Botswana vs Zambia – Dr Petrus Molemela Stadium
Record seven-time champions Zambia have not lost to Botswana in six previous clashes (W5 D1) but have come up short against Comoros in the past (W1 L1). That was in the last edition when they lost 1-0.
Comoros will hope for a first win against Botswana when they clash, having a win and a draw against them in the past. They are yet to score a goal.
